We are Graham and Marion Whittley, who after working for SME for well over twenty years in various capacities started South West Analogue as a specialist analogue audio dealership in West Somerset in 1998. With over thirty years experience of the companies products we feel confident that we can call ourselves The SME Specialist.

 

We are also representatives of Michell Engineering and Loricraft/Garrard with cartidges from Ortofon, Benz Micro, the special Denon 103M and The Cartridge Man.

 

Amplification is supplied by Icon Audio who have a complete range of exciting valve amplification, including phono-stages from the new PS2 up to the brilliant top of the range PS3.

 

Integrated units include the New KT88 single ended Stereo 20 SE and Stereo 25 alongside the New Stereo 40III plus the existing 50, 60 and 300B. Mono block units use KT90 and 300B vacuum tubes, plus the scintillating new MB845 MKII.

 

For pre-amplification we have the LA4 MK II valve unit plus a passive device with optional remote.

 

Solid state phono-stages come from Graham Slee Projects.

 

Loudspeakers are courtesy of Icon Audio with their new "Made for Valve" (MFV) range and the Electrostatic and Hybrid Electrostatic models from King Sound.

 

Audio supports and vibration control platforms are from the highly acclaimed UK manufacturer Audiophile Base with our own vibration isolation platforms will available shortly.

 

We have our own range of hand crafted accessories which includes Silver Litz Tonearm, Interconnect and loudspeaker cables, plus LCOFC and Silver mains cables, all using good quality connectors. Plus 5mm "Cast" acrylic turntable lift-off covers, primarily for the SME range. Also our own vibration isolation platforms will be available very shortly.

The New SME Model 30/12A turntable with it`s Series V-12" one piece magnesium tubed tonearm is now available to order. Both this turntable and the 30/2/A are now available with selected items 24 carat Gold Plated.

From the A396 take the Winsford turning. After approx 1 mile you will enter the village, take the first left after the Shop/Post Office. Proceed slowly over the ford up Ash Lane, the village Church will be observed, high up on your right hand side.

 

After about 250 yards, Number 2 (The Old Dairy) will be found slightly set back from the road on the right hand side. A Public Footpath sign is in our drive entrance.

 

If the ford is considered to be to high, drive past the Garage and the Village Hall and take the first turning on the left, signposted for Withypool and the Computer Centre. Follow the road right the way round to the T junction and then turn right on to Ash Lane.
