Themisonics/Kernow Electron integrated valve amplifier model 2/10.

This was the first commercial project by a small company from Cornwall, unfortunately the project had to be abandoned due to family commitments. This remarkable amplifier was designed by an ex-university electronis lecturer using the highest quality components to give a sound quality that is substantially greater than the orginal asking price of £685.00. This price reflexs the case work not the quality of the design or construction.

The pre-amp uses 2 x 12 AX7WA Russian Sovtek valves and the power amp section uses hand picked B6GH5 Sovtek`s. This gives a "paper" specification of 10 watts but with reasonably efficient speakers it can sound amazing loud when warmed through. It even drives our One Thing Audio Quad 57 speakers extremely well.

We have the original box and instructions and will be sold with a high quality 1M mains lead.

Our own demonsration Graham Slee EXP moving coil step up amplifier. Will fit any moving magnet input to boost the signal for low to medium output MC cartridges. Works particularly well with Era Gold MM units.
