SME SERIES V-12

Based on the highly successful Series V this unique new tonearm has a 12" one piece pressure die-cast magnesium tone arm with integral headshell to eliminate tone-arm resonances. It also offers a 27% reduction in angular error distortion compared with the best 9" arms.

With an effective mass of only 12.0g and an adjustable weight system to balance cartridges from 5.0 to 32.0g it is not only highly versatile but a real pleasure to own and use. Its tonally neutral presentation will appeal to all lovers of analogue audio who prize neutrality over euphonic colouration.

With its Gold tonearm lining and decals and the usual high standard of SME finish this highly attractive tonearm is very likely to be revered as a "work of art" just the same as the Series V is.

We recommend using one of our Silver Litz audio leads for maximum performance. Illustrated is a straight 5 pin din plug, but for the Model 30/12A turntable the special SME right angled 5 pin din plug will be fitted.
