SME SERIES IV

The Series IV is basically a silver and bright chrome Series V utilizing the same magnesium tone arm but with less sophisticated internal wiring and simplified adjustments, including a static balancing system compared with the dynamic system of the Series V.

An optional Black chrome version is available to order at extra cost.

The FD IV damper kit is an optional extra which has the added fine adjustment of the VTA included.

First introduced in 1987 this competively priced tone arm has proved to be a huge success, representing excellent value for money. Standard wiring is LCOFC, but all new tone arms supplied by us can be fitted with either Series V Silver or top of the range MCS150 Silver internal wiring for improved performance.

The Series IV has class leading sound quality, which is substantially improved with the extra cost silver internal wiring and further enhanced with with one of our optinal audio leads,

An upgraded specification is available from us, including either Series V Silver wiring or "top of the range" MCS150 Silver internal wiring too give a very useful sound quality improvement and our own Silver Litz audio lead to match. P.O.A.
